Which vendors generate tabular and text data?

These vendors learn from database tables (and, for Tonic.ai, text and files) and generate new rows for testing, analytics and model training.

Which vendors generate images and simulated scenes?

These render labeled imagery and sensor data from 3D scenes, mostly for perception models in vehicles, robots and remote sensing.

How this list is put together

This site is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any company named on it, and it has not tested or audited any of their products: everything here comes from what each company publishes.

A vendor is listed when its own site confirmed it was operating on the day we checked. A price, certification or ownership change appears only when the vendor's page or a dated report says it; anything else reads "Not published". If a vendor tells us a fact is out of date, we check the page again and log the change above.

Questions about the vendor list

How many synthetic data vendors are on this list?

Seven: five for tabular and text data (Tonic.ai, Syntho with MOSTLY AI, Aindo, K2view, SAS Data Maker) and two for images and simulation (Rendered.ai, Parallel Domain). We list a vendor only if its own pages confirmed it was operating when we checked on 7 Nov 2026.

Why is Gretel not on the list?

TechCrunch reported on 19 Mar 2025 that NVIDIA had acquired Gretel. We treat it as part of NVIDIA rather than an independent vendor you can contract with.

Are MOSTLY AI and Syntho the same company now?

Syntho announced on 9 Jun 2026 that it had bought the MOSTLY AI trademark and related assets, and the brand continues as "MOSTLY AI, powered by Syntho". The announcement did not say what became of the original company, so we list them as one vendor.

Is this list a ranking?

No. Vendors are grouped by the data they generate, not scored. We have not tested any product; every fact comes from the vendor's own published pages or a dated news report.

How often is the list checked?

Each vendor page was read on 7 Nov 2026. The changelog on this page records every change we find in ownership, prices or published terms, with its date.

Three parts: the company location, a contact for replies, then what the generated data has to do. The final part is optional.

Disclosure: this is an introduction service, and any vendor it introduces you to can pay the site for that introduction. Each brief is read by a person and matched against vendors' published terms; you get the names first, and nothing goes to any vendor without your go-ahead.

Please do not send data, samples, schemas with real values or credentials through this form. A written description is all we need.
